Hello Dear Open Studiers this is a post that only wants votes. Our beloved user @CausticSyndicalist was Permanently IP banned from Open Study more than a year now. The Open Study republic would like him back ;-; please hear us out. He's the only person that never broke rules on here, he was very joyful and amazing. Just cause he made a mistake to help a competition learning site. Please forgive him, he does have mental medical issues. Yet he made this site grow and get closer. Thank you.

If he did something knowing it was wrong, and I see no way he wouldn't have known, he deserves it. The administration doesn't IP ban a user for a assignment offense. This post is out of line. There is no reason to unban a user for blatantly defying a rule. He likely advertised it, which is even more out of line.

@CausticSyndicalist may have done some wrong things, Moderators, but he was very helpful and active in the subjects that many people do not help in. He always tried to help even though he didn't know the full answer. Please consider that. :)

I sincerely don't see how this is going to make things better or how this is going to help "un-ban" him (if that even is the reason he is not on anymore). I do believe if HE WAS ip banned, its because of a serious offense he did. Everybody here is told to read the Code-of-Conduct when they sign-up for OS. So there is no excuse about why they weren't reminded or why they didn't read it. Lets stop saying that he broke a "simple rule" because that could not be true. You dont go to prison for life because you stole a chocolate bar from the grocery store. I mean cmo'n think about it people. Mod's arnt going to unban him if users want him to come back. He has to serve his punishment until they decide its time to unban him.

How about this, Instead of making a petition which is useless how about you email contact@openstudy.com and plead your case. If you have a problem with the way a leader is leading it's not your job to file a petition but instead go directly to the OpenStudy team with your concerns. This is a way of starting a rebellion or a riot. It is a waist of time to drag other users into this as it will solve nothing.

Wouldn't you like a second chance after an incident has struck?

Like when a girl (not naming who) posted a picture privately to the male and then it gotten out of hand. THHEENNN everyone looked down on her. All she wanted was a second chance. Those people never given that to her, which lead to suicide.

Why can't we bring him back? We can just pay attention to his actions to see if he has learned from the past mistakes, if he doesn't then, lets ban him. But it is right to give a second chance.

How would you feel? I advocate this.

However, if he knew the repercussions, and is not guilty in the matter, then no I do not support what he did. I am one-sided.

Until I know both sides of which is the incident and what he has done, how he has reacted, what terms he broken, and etc. I firmly believe someone deserves a second chance in redemption, however, it depends on the matter because I DO BELIEVE in consequences and taking responsibility for what you have done.

Whenever Caustic was on during his final days, he was rather depressed. This could be why he left or if something happened to him. .-.
