To find the length of Chesire Road you would do a porportion.... \(\LARGE{\frac{ 40 }{ 48 }=\frac{ x }{ 56 }}\) You would cross multiply.... \(\LARGE\color{green}{2,240 = 48x}\) in which we divide 48 from both sides....what would be the answer?
thanks can you help wit more i kinda suck at this math thing
sure ^^
thanks
and i need to calculate the geometric mean of 275 and 11 can you explain how to do it
im good at math its just this geometry thing is kinda confusing
This one is easy ^^ you would set this up as a porportion.... \(\LARGE{\frac{275}{x}=\frac{x}{11}}\) next you cross multiply in which it would equal... \(\LARGE\color{purple}{3,025=x^2}\) Now we need to find the square root of 3,025.... \(\LARGE\color{red}{x=\sqrt{3025}}\)....when you get your answer the geometric mean would be the positive and the negative of the number....
ok so it would be 55 right
Correct ^^ sorry my internet is bad right now....so i might get on and off
So the geometric mean is 55 and -55
do you understand?
