Saturated is when you can't dissolve any more solute in the mixture, while unsaturated means you can still dissolve solute in the mixture.

I think you mean "solution" and not "mixture". In a mixture the different chemicals are intermingled but do not actually merge. A solution is when they are mixed together and one is dissolved in the other (solute and solvent). Mixture, sand and marbles could be mixed but not a solution. Solution, salt dissolved in water.
