Would the weight of a gold ring most likely be expressed in ounces, ton, or pound?

OpenStudy (imsleeziboii):

rebeccaxhawaii (rebeccaxhawaii):

yes ounces because its low weight

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I know that part, but how do I explain it? @imsleeziboii

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (imsleeziboii):

Ounces are the smallest measurement of weight

OpenStudy (imsleeziboii):

Pounds are too heavy and so are tons

OpenStudy (imsleeziboii):

rebeccaxhawaii (rebeccaxhawaii):

a ring is measured with ounces because its a low weighted item so ounces gives you the weight with accuracy

do you always have this ready to copy and paste rebecca?

OpenStudy (skullpatrol):

People like to use units that allow them to use the familiar numbers 1, 2, 3, 4,... So ounces are used.
