Hey i need to know do you guys think my drawing is first place worthy I am entering it in a compaction and i really wanna go to nationals its my profile picture and its only halfway done

If you want to make it more 3-D a thing to do would be to shade a bit lighter to make it look more shadow like. Another thing would be to shade where you want crevices, if that makes sense. To add more scenery you can make small details like trees and plants.

Also, I find that the best paintings and the best drawings are ones that tell a story or allow observers to use their creativity to make an image into a tale worth contemplating for hours on end. Often some great drawings resemble/symbolizes something. Such as, maybe, a mountain cleaved down the middle and a star rising behind it symbolized chaos but a new beginning around the horizon. Something like that ;p
