HELP ASAP!! DUE TOMORROW!! PLS EXPLAIN!! 1. Is the voltage across each branch of a parallel circuit the same? Is the current in each branch the same? 2. Give two reasons why parallel circuits are used for distributing electricity around homes and buildings instead of series circuits. 3. What happens to the total current in a parallel circuit as more branches are added? Why? 4. What is the total resistance of two 12-ohms resistors in parallel? What is the total for three 12-ohm resistors in parallel?

What do you know about Ohm's Law?

OpenStudy (priyar):

voltage across two points in a parallel circuit is the same but the current is split up..just the opposite of series circuit..
