Which are acceptable names for the line? Choose all answers that are correct. A. PNT B. line T C. PT D. line NP

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What do you think it is?

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

i think C im not sure whatelse tho

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, it's not B for sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lines usually have a point A & a point B so which ones have only 2 points??

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

D and C

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yupp

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But there's one more

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope cuz PNT is not 1 line its more than 1 line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

PNT is a correct answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when finding a line it means a line segment & there r a total of 3 lines a line has only a total of 2 dots Point A & Point B

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

PNT would just be a copy of the name the line already has right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kinda u use 3 points when naming a triangle tho not a line

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

ahhh makes since

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a ray has only 1 point & we arent looking for a ray

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We have the points on the line, P, N and T naming it by the points can be a name for the line

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a line is just a never ending line so u r finding a line segment

OpenStudy (anonymous):

three points*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You can go with dark's answer and get it wrong, or you can go with the right answer

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

oh i get it, it like when your doting something out you make one dot then make another dot to make a line...??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes there r 3 points but u can only use 2 of the 3 when naming it examples are PN, TP, & NT

OpenStudy (anonymous):

& yes

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

mkk thnx

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

i hope your right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Let us know what the right answer was

OpenStudy (anonymous):

np lol im a senior & i excell in math so im 99% positive i am correct

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o angles can also have 3 points thought u should know b4 i 4got XD

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

i have to answer some other questions before i can tell you whos right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats fine im in no rush ^_^

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

can you help me

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sure

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

Which are names of points drawn in the figure? Choose all answers that are correct. I think J,H, and D A. J B. H C. d D. T

OpenStudy (anonymous):

which 3 are pointing to the dots & not the arrows???

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

J,H, and T

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yupp the letters closest 2 the dot is the letter naming it ^_^

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

okay

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i remember doin this stuff in middle school & trust me high school is NO easier lol

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

Which are acceptable names for the plane? Choose all answers that are correct. i think C is an answer A. plane EGB B. plane W C plane QB D. plane EFG

OpenStudy (anonymous):

first off do u know wut the plane is??

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

yeah its a transportation device that goes in the air XD

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

so a and D because they are all dots and are connected.

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

which makes a plane

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope A has B in it so its just D

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

oh i over look that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea lol they try to trick you so u have 2 look closely

OpenStudy (anonymous):

o crud im sorry can u go back i messed up the plane is the entire shape uggg darn u brain farts!!!!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it will b B not D

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

Which is a line in the figure? i think e but i thought lines had to be made of two points A. line e B. line d C. line QMS D. line eD

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think u put the wrong pic up there lol

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well it says line & u can clearly see that there is a never ending line that is called E lines dont need points cuz they dont stop line segments how ever need 2 points 2 keep the line from going on forever in any direction

OpenStudy (anonymous):

D is naming the plane so anything with D in it cross out & S is just a point so anything with S in it can also b crossed out... i think ur left with only 1 choice now lol

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

Its A !!!!! i was right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yupp

OpenStudy (anonymous):

anything else???

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

What are the lines drawn in this figure? I have no idea Choose all answers that are correct. A. CX B. line R C. line g D. line M

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well it will b nothing with M or S so u can cross out D... G is a line R is a point ON a line so cross B out CX is a line segment so if in not mistaken ur answers will b A & C

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

@darkdirl111296 @Redcile darkdirll was right the whole time Except for #3

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

@Redicle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea i screwed up on 3 lol gotta hate brain farts in the mornings XD

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

its okay i got a passing grade on my homework

OpenStudy (anonymous):

kool i gotta go in a few min but ill b back on in around 4 hours i have this class twice

OpenStudy (watermelon_talk):

i'll see you then i think i got it from here @darkdirl111296

OpenStudy (anonymous):
