What body of water separates Central Asia from the Caucasus region? A. Black Sea B. Aral Sea C. Caspian Sea D. Lake Baikal

OpenStudy (gottennis121):

Not A or B. When looking at a map, that body of water separates the Caucasus region and Central Asia? Zoom out then look to the right to see Central Asia. :) https://www.google.com/maps/place/Caucasus/

OpenStudy (dogzcatz):

okay well I have to explain it because some reason you cant just search and look at a map The black sea is near turkey and Ukraine The aral sea is near Kazakhstan The Caspian Sea is the answer just look at a map о́зеро Байка́л is in Russia

OpenStudy (dogzcatz):

I can't really explain why lakes and seas are where they are so this is the screen shot from before showing Caspian Sea

OpenStudy (dogzcatz):

без разницы Ответа до сих пор тоже самое

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Farther east, in the mountains and mountain valleys, the climate is much drier. The Caspian Sea separates the Caucasus and Central Asia. At nearly the size of California, this saltwater lake is the largest inland body of water in the world.
