Genetically-Modified Organisms (GMOs) are currently being developed for agriculture. Currently commercialized GM crops in the U.S. include soy (94%), cotton (90%), canola (90%), sugar beets (95%), corn (88%), and Hawaiian papaya (more than 50%). The use of GMO crops can reduce agricultural costs to farmers and provide greater crop-yields, possibly helping with issues of food shortages. Although this sounds great, there is still a lot of controversy around the use of GMOs. Which of these is a valid argument on why we should not use GMOs in our food?
GMOs do not have any nutritional value GMO crops are always more expensive to buy There is not enough research on long-term effects of eating GMOs.
@Rushwr
I mean the answer is quite obvious. Which one do you think it is? Just be reasonable and apply it to today's society.
The word "Controversy" should point out the answer :p
It's against the rules to give direct answers. You are suppose to guide the answer, there is not point to an education if you don't apply and understand with reason.
This is not exactly a direct answer because I have given reasons for why I choose the answer. Direct answering is when u just say that the answer is 3 :) @alphadxg
On topic, there is a reasonable approach to understanding this. We obviously do not know the long term this has. So A could also be true, but in general option 3 gives a broader explanation of what is, as the question asks, "Controversial".
What? You just contradicted yourself in that statement. Guide the user to the answer. You did it for him which in turn, by definition is a direct answer as stated in the rules.
Don't provide someone with just the answer - explain the process, and help guide them through understanding the problem. This is what's in the COC. I didn't give the answer directly . I explained the process of taking the answer too. :) @alphaxdg
@Rushwr Again, you are misunderstanding. You explained the answer in 1 post and gave a direct answer. Notice, "Explain the Process", there was no process involved when you gave 1 post thread and the answer. The User didn't use anything to find the answer, you gave it for him.
