What's the opposite of division?
Multiplication, correct?
Opposite operations would help you in this case.
-14 = 2/3t
Since we're multiplying instead of dividing, we have to multiply -14 by the reciprocal of 2/3 (which is 3/2).
So, we would do this:
(3/2)(-14) = (2/3t)(3/2)
You can plug the left side into your calculator. Tell me what you come up with. :) The right side cancels out and you're left with t. (3/2)(-14) = t
