Using the rules for significant figures, what do you get when you multiply 67.6 by 1.2?

Well for this question you would first multiply them both so.... \(\LARGE\color{green}{67.6 \times 1.2=81.12}\) Now that we have this product we see that \(\Large\color{purple}{67.6}\) has only \(\large{3}\) significant figures while \(\Large\color{orange}{1.2}\) has \(\large{2}\) significant figures now our product will round to the minimum of siginficant figures which is \(\Large\color{red}{2}\) so our answer would be rounded to to only \(\LARGE\color{red}{81}\)....
