Find the sum of the angle measures for the polygon. hexagon A. 360° B. 540° C. 720° D. 900°
you could use that formula I gave you earlier
Is that the hexagon for the question or just a random one you got from the internet?
it is the one for the question
Okay so what do you think the first step is?
find the angles in the object
Well, you know the sum of the angles of a triangle?
it would be C
a hexagon would have to have all angles add up to 720
All sides are the same length (congruent) and all interior angles are the same size (congruent). To find the measure of the interior angles, we know that the sum of all the angles is 720 degrees

In a regular polygon, all sides and angles are equal. In a triangle, the sum of the interior angles is 180. In a square, the sum of the interior angles is 360. If you see the pattern, everytime you add a side, you add by 180. If you continue the pattern, a pentagon will have 540. Therefore, in a hexagon, the sum of the interior angles will be 720.
