Hm I keep on mixting fixed pulley and movable pulley

alones (alones):

so ummm a type of pulley that moves with the load and allows the effort to be less than the weight of the load is movable pulley

alones (alones):

Thefixed pulleyis type of pulley that requires more effort than the load to lift the load from the ground, does not need to be pushed or pulled up or down I should be right :3

OpenStudy (aravindg):

A fixed pulley is fixed and is used for changing direction of applied force. A movable pulley is not fixed and in addition to advantage of a fixed pulley, it provides a mechanical advantage ie work can be done with less force than required in fixed pulley.
