hartnn (hartnn):

tried plugging in u = ln x ?

OpenStudy (darkigloo):

How do i know what to use as u? I'm sorry, I havent had calc in 2 years..i don't remember how to do any of this.

hartnn (hartnn):

when we find the derivative of a function in the question itself, we try taking that as 'u' i found the derivative of ln x in the function \(\dfrac{(\ln x)^2}{x}dx\) itself :)

OpenStudy (darkigloo):

\[u=lnx , \frac{ du }{ dx }= \frac{ 1 }{ x }, du = \frac{ 1 }{ x }dx\]

hartnn (hartnn):

yes, correct go on
