A light bulb consumes 6480 watt-hours in 4 days and 12 hours. How many watt-hours does it consume per day?

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

hmmm hold the mayo... got that a bit off

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

well, the day has 24 hrs, or 12 + 12 meaning, that 12 is really half a day, or 0.5day so 4days and 12 hours is really 4.5days so \(\begin{array}{ccllll} watt-hours&day \\\hline\\ 6480&4.5\\ x&1 \end{array}\implies \cfrac{6480}{x}=\cfrac{4.5}{1}\)
