So for question 1 you need to find 24 percent of 750
Just multiply 750 by 0.24 and you will get 180

For question 2 
Add 18.50+(18.5 times 0.005)+(18.5 times 0.04)= 19.33
Now for part b 
Do (18.5 times 0.04) - (18.5 times 0.005)= 0.65

A store is having a 10% off sale. It gives an additional 20% off if the item  is still above $100 after the first discount. A jacket cost $124.99. Will you get the second discount? You buy the jacket. If you get the second discount, how many dollars have you saved in total?
