OpenStudy (ibrafacts):

Wpuld u set them up as 7x-1=48?

OpenStudy (ibrafacts):

Question

OpenStudy (confxsedaf):

no, you have two different shapes. so you have to solve for the triangle and trapezoid.

OpenStudy (ibrafacts):

oh so how?

OpenStudy (ibrafacts):

anyone?

OpenStudy (photon336):

@ibrafacts these are similar triangles right? so yeah I think you could set it up that way

OpenStudy (ibrafacts):

oh okay for all of them @Photon336

OpenStudy (ibrafacts):

1.x=7 2.x=16 3.x=14 @Photon336

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

The sides aren't equal. For 1, the big triangle has sides twice the length of the small triangle. Same for all the others.

OpenStudy (ibrafacts):

so how would i set i up? @agent0smith

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

The long side is twice the length of the short side.

OpenStudy (ibrafacts):

have 48x2?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Multiply the short side by 2. That will be equal to the long side.

OpenStudy (ibrafacts):

could u draw a picture plz?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Of what? I'm sure you can identify the short side of the triangle, and the long side.

OpenStudy (ibrafacts):

14x-2=48?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Yes. Do the exact same thing for the other two.

OpenStudy (ibrafacts):

oh okay thank you:)))
