please help will fan and medal! :) Which is a primary way an archaeologist would decide where a temple stood? A. evaluating clues on clay tablets B. reading about the remains of an ancient statue C. digging in a small rise in the landscape

OpenStudy (qwertty123):

Which one do you think it is?

OpenStudy (qwertty123):

B - reading about the remains of an ancient statue. While both A and C are very romantic, both would take ages for a professional working archaeologist to dig up anything useful in a reasonable amount of time. The most effective thing that he can do is read primary sources and based on those decide where a temple stood.
