MsBrains (ms-brains):

Can some please teach m e how to solve this? I got no clue how to solve it

MsBrains (ms-brains):

OpenStudy (greatlife44):

Remember a function must have only one y value for each x value you put in

MsBrains (ms-brains):

My best guess is it's A..or B

OpenStudy (fortytherapper):

I agree with great life. So basically, you can't have two or more different y values for the same X. Looking at A: One of the X values is -2. -2 has more than one y value. It has 2 and 6. Because of that, it's not a function

MsBrains (ms-brains):

So it's B! Because it does have 2 of the same numbers, except in the y value

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes b

MsBrains (ms-brains):

doesn't*

OpenStudy (fortytherapper):

Right, C and D also have multiple Y-values for the same X number

MsBrains (ms-brains):

Awesome! Thank you so much! <3 You're awesome!
