What is the symbolism of Water throughout the film?
I think it symbols the life of different people.
Gandhi says, “I used to believe that God was Truth. I have come to see that Truth is God.” What does he mean? How can you tell what is true?
He means do something that is true and never lie; If you do something that is true and helpful to other, suddenly you relize that god is truth. You can tell by looking at the face of someone and tell that is true. For example: You can tell he is liying or telling truth unless you see his face. True is something that no one goon question you because you prove that if someone need help you need help. True is what is reality not real.
Kalyani says that one must live like the lotus flower in the midst of squalor. How does she embody this idea?
She embody this idea by saying, "I think traditions shouldn't be that rigid. They should flow like the replenishing kind of water." I might be wrong on this question.
