How do I find the algebraic equation of an ellipse?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[ax^2+by^2+cx+dx+e=0 is the format I have, but I need \to put \it into the form. ((x-h)^2/a^2)+((y-k)^2/b^2)=1\]

zepdrix (zepdrix):

I guess I'm a little confused... Do you need help with this? Or is this a tutorial of sorts?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need help with it.
