Hey welcome to OpenStudy! I understand how hard English can be for some, so I'll give you a hand. Firstly, its important to understand the definition's of these options that you are given to choose from. So A for example, when it say's DIRECT OBJECT it is talking of a verb that is being specifically ACTED upon. For B when it talks of a predicative nominative it means the term for a noun, pronoun, or either another nominal which will usually follow a linking verb. For C the object of a preposition is a noun phrase or pronoun that will follow a proposition and complete it's meaning. And for D, (this is maybe a one that is easier to understand out of them all) ...subject. A subject is the MAIN idea, theme, meaning, etc, etc, of the whole sentence itself. So, if we had to eliminate one option which do you think it would be? Take a shot, I promise to walk you through it. :)
