Can someone explain/answer for me plz?!?!?!?!?!?!? David tracks his calories burned while training for a meet. The number of calories he burns is expressed by the function c(t) = 704t, where t is the number of hours spent swimming.

OpenStudy (iwik):

To burn more calories, David wears flippers while he swims. The number of calories he burns while wearing flippers is expressed by the function b(c) = 1.3c, where c is the number of calories burned while swimming without flippers. Which of the following composite functions expresses the calories, as a function of time, David burns while swimming with flippers?

OpenStudy (iwik):

A)b[c(t)] = 915.2t B)b[c(t)] = 705.3t C)c[b(t)] = 915.2t D)c[b(t)] = 705.3t

@sgutierrez can u help?

@KamiBug can u help?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think it is B because b would think is burnt or burning and c for calories add that to the equation c times t because your multiplying calories [c] to time [t] to get the number of hours spent swimming and because you add it is because flippers I think slow you down and make you burn more calories so I would think that the choice is B

OpenStudy (iwik):

ill try it ty

OpenStudy (iwik):

it was a
