History 7 Online

Reading history critically means: A. determining your own point of view and motivation. B. evaluating texts for mistakes in spelling and grammar. C. comparing different types of historical thinking used by the writer. D. verifying facts and thinking about the writer's motivations.

I'd go with D, as it makes the most sense when thinking from the perspective of a critic. If you were going with the perspective of a literature critic, i'd possibly go with B, but the question seems to only be asking for the roundabout opinion of a historical critic. So D.

D because you are more than likely or should be figuring out the facts in what you are reading for history over the other options.
