What was the goal of Joseph Stalin's Five-Year Plans? A. To give the government control of all parts of the economy B. To overthrow the aristocrats who owned Soviet land C. To build up resources for a war with Germany D. To eliminate all people who threatened Stalin's power

This is an interesting question! We know that the Five-Years Plan was an economical overhaul that aimed to industrialize the Soviet Union during WW1-WW2. Knowing this eliminates B and D. However, we know prior to this period that the country was worried about external threats towards its infrastructure. Without this Plan, the Soviet Union would have been unable to address the German Invasion in 1941. We also saw an increasing rise of Marxism in the government. Knowing this, I believe you can decide for yourself if it's A or C.
