OpenStudy (twistrose):

Which personal pronoun best completes the sentence? How is it used? Ryan and Steve showed __________ an old treasure map they found in their attic. A. he; direct object B. he; indirect object C. him; indirect object ->D. him; direct object

OpenStudy (calebxjr):

hi twist

OpenStudy (calebxjr):

so what do you think the answer is?

OpenStudy (twistrose):

d

OpenStudy (twistrose):

is it right

OpenStudy (lexi.babyy):

c

OpenStudy (lexi.babyy):

The answer is C :)

OpenStudy (twistrose):

ok thanks

OpenStudy (thoritegem):

I would disagree with C. I would say that it's D because the object, him, is the one receiving the action. So it would be D.

OpenStudy (conqueror):

@Lexi.babyy Direct answers are not allowed on OS.

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

I agree with Thorite, how is it C? Also, Code of Conduct. (We all fall short on the code of conduct, @Conqueror,)

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

How is it a indirect object, when it clearly says it is a " an old treasure map they found in their attic." Reverting to a 'direct object'. @twistrose @Lexi.babyy

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

Seems a bit unlikely?

OpenStudy (lexi.babyy):

I simply put my best guess. But I appreciate yall telling me what's right :) I obviously was trying to help. @MissSmartiez

OpenStudy (misssmartiez):

Hmm, I understand that, next time try to think how and why you got it. If you can't think of anything, it is most likely incorrect, however, I clap for your effort!

OpenStudy (twistrose):

thanks guys for all of your help
