A ball is thrown into the air with an initial upward velocity of 45ft/s. Its height (h) in feet after t seconds is given by the function h = -16t^2 + 45t + 6. After about how many seconds will the ball hit the ground. A. 3, B. 4, C. 5, D. 6 Please help me ASAP. Will Fan and Medal

You want to solve for 't' if memory serves me correctly.
yes
yes so would it be either 3, 4, 5, or 6 for (t) seconds
can you help me @Qwertty123
i have to get eat some breakfast when i get back please i hope you have gave me an answer.
you could do the equations OR you could just recognize that (conservation of energy) the ball will slow to a stop and fall from that point and then achieve the same velocity it had at the original point so, 15 m/s
Can you help me @lilkg77
