Matthew and Bradley got into an argument. Matthew was convinced that the above picture was RNA, and Bradley was positive that it was DNA. Who is right and why? A) Both Matthew and Bradley were wrong as this is not DNA or RNA. B) There is not enough information in the picture to conclude who was right. C) Matthew was right because RNA is single-stranded while DNA is double-stranded. D) Bradley was right because DNA is single-stranded while RNA is double-stranded.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

DNA is double helixed. So I know it isn't DNA.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It feels like there isn't enough information in the picture.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But RNA is one single strand.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*stran

OpenStudy (rushwr):

Actually it does........

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It feels like it should be B or C, maybe even A.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A is debatable though.

OpenStudy (rushwr):

I think it is C because usually in general RNA is single stranded and DNA is double stranded. Anyways the picture show is RNA, that I found it by the bases present there.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yeah that makes since. Thanks!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The pictures all weird so it was hard to tell.

OpenStudy (rushwr):

No problem :)
