Think about problems that people face in the world. And try to come up with an invention that's cheap and can help them. :)

I've thought of a lot of things. First, thank you for giving a good reply. I do like the idea of something helping with homework. But like that guy said, it would decrease the education of students, and I'd end up getting negative feedback.

A solar powered socket that you can attach to windows that provides power (which has been taken already) a new medicine that simulates the nutrients found in food. and new way of diagnosing pneumonia and curing it, and many other things
