Find the perimeter of WXYZ. Round to the nearest tenth if necessary. 130 3.7 21.9 21.3 I think it's 21.3 but I'm not sure. It could be 21.9 also.

Use distance forumla. \[\frac{ (y2-y1) }{(x2-x1) }\] On each line. WX, XY, YZ, ZW. Make sense?

OpenStudy (ltrout):

Then you would add those distances together to get the perimeter.

OpenStudy (ltrout):

I'll help you on line WX. y2= 4 y1 = 2 x2 = -1 x1 = 1. Y2-Y1 = 2 X2-X1 = -2 2/-2 = -1

OpenStudy (ltrout):

Now you would do this for the remaining 3 lines and add there values together.

OpenStudy (bringmetherain):

It would be 3.7, correct? @ltrout

OpenStudy (bringmetherain):

Oops, nevermind. It's 21.9!

OpenStudy (ltrout):

Goodjob! That's correct! :)
