@KamiBug

OpenStudy (dani_rose):

Just imagine it as two separate figures and find the area for both and then combine

OpenStudy (dani_rose):

Area id just \[b \times h\]

OpenStudy (dani_rose):

is*

OpenStudy (ltrout):

The area for a trapezoid is \[A=\frac{ (b1+b2) }{ 2 }*H\] Do this formula for both. Left Trapezoid: B1 = 4, B2 = 25, H = 16. Right Trapezoid: B1 = 15, B2 = 25, H = 10.

OpenStudy (ltrout):

Area for left trapezoid: 232 Area for right trapezoid: 200. Combined: 432.

OpenStudy (dani_rose):

I agree with @ltrout

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

THX for the help!

OpenStudy (ltrout):
