Write the slope intercept inequality for the graph that contains the points (3,3) and (-3,-1)

OpenStudy (ltrout):

Same as before. Plot the points. Find the slope. Y = .5x + .5. Inequality: y>= .5x+.5

thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me on one more @ltrout

OpenStudy (ltrout):

Sure post new question, tag me.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so i have to find the slope intercept inequality of the points (0,3) AND (2,-3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i did the slope i got -3 i just dont know how to do the rest

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ltrout

OpenStudy (ltrout):

Alright so from there you want to check, are the points on the left or right side of that line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when it shows the graph its shaded to the left

OpenStudy (ltrout):

If the points are on the right side, the right side should be shaded..

OpenStudy (ltrout):

Should be Y > -3x or Y >= -3x.
