what shape is it?

OpenStudy (rainbow_rocks03):

Did you read it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The circumference is d times pi so 2.5 times pi

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

A tire is a circle and to find the circumference of the circle we need to use the formula \(C = \pi d\)

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

Where \(C\) represents the circumference and \(d\) represents the diameter.

OpenStudy (samara89):

wrong in my math we use 4/3 aproximate pie r 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Samara89 That is the formula for the volume of a sphere.

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

The given diameter is 2.5ft so we need to do \(C = 2.5\pi\). And then for part b using the circumference (since the area around the circle) you would need to divide how many feet are in one mile by the circumference.

I want the equation on how to solve my problem
