Light travels at a speed of 3.0 ´ 108 m/s. If it takes light from the sun 5.0 ´ 102 s to reach Earth, what is the distance between Earth and the sun?

OpenStudy (baconboy73):

You have velocity and time and need to find distance. What formula relates all these?: \[v = \frac{ d }{ t }\] Rearrange for d and you should be set!

OpenStudy (priyar):

distance = speed * time u have already been given the speed and time. just plug in those values..that's it! got it? @Phoebe_tea
