can some one please tell me that what is the meaning of this equation? http://puu.sh/nkSXN.png

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean that what is the difference betwwen b and h.?

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

such equation is used in order to express the magnetic field inside the matter. The new vector field \(\mathbf{H}\) hs an important property: \[\Large {\text{rot }}{\mathbf{H}} = \frac{{4\pi }}{c}{{\mathbf{J}}_{free}}\] where: \[\Large {{\mathbf{J}}_{free}}\] is the current density of non-magnetization current, namely is the current density generated by an external source of voltage Of course, such property doesn't holfd for the magnetic field \(\mathbf{B}\) furthermore, the coefficient \(\mu\) is the magnetic permeability of the matter.

thank you for replying. Michele , i have almost no or very little knowledge about these concepts. can you please guide me that from where can i study and digest this theory from the very basics.
