OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes im dying

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@LegendarySadist

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@ltrout

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry i need so much help. I just dont get these things

OpenStudy (ltrout):

The first thing would be to convert those to mixed numbers instead. 3/2 = 1 1/2. 2/3 is fine. Now you look for the point (1.5, 2/3). Which graph has a line that goes through that point do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2/3? how is there a coordinate with a fraction?

OpenStudy (ltrout):

Its possible. It just means that its 2/3 (.66) to the next line.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah this ^^^^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohh.

OpenStudy (ltrout):

So I'll give you a hint. You can eliminate B and D

OpenStudy (ltrout):

No do you know what an undefined slope is?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C

OpenStudy (ltrout):

That would be wrong. An undefined slope is vertical. So you need to find a line that is vertical (up and down) and passes through the point (1.5, .66). And since B and D are out of the question and C isn't correct, that leaves us with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And no i do not know what an undefined slope is

OpenStudy (ltrout):

Correct! And no problem I'll explain! An undefined slope is the slope of a vertical line. The x-coords never change while the y-coords do.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. ill copy and paste that into some notes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I need help with a couple more if you have time

OpenStudy (ltrout):

Alright I'll try! I'm about to get off and get some lunch so I have time for one or two more

OpenStudy (anonymous):

alright :)
