On Venus, the gravitational acceleration is −10ft/sec2 . You notice that your foot is on fire (it’s hot on Venus) and so you hurl a waterballoon downward at your foot. As it leaves your hand it’s going 1 ft/sec. Your hand was 4 feet above your foot when it left. How long before it hits your foot and you get some relief?
