Suppose that you want to design a cylinder with the same volume as a given cylinder, but you want to use a different radius and height. In general terms, how can you change r and h to produce the same volume for both cylinders?

OpenStudy (dani_rose):

What's the given Cylinder?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

there isnt a given cylinder

OpenStudy (welshfella):

basically r^2 h will have to be the same value

OpenStudy (welshfella):

r1^2 h1 will have to equal r2^2 h2 where r1 and h1 are the old and r2 and h2 are the new values.
