a graph with a line usually has the x-axis (horizontal axis) showing numbers that increase (like 1,2,3,)
categories with no relation to each other (like this problem) don't make much sense as labels on the x-axis.

I would use a pie chart, because that shows visually which expenses are the biggest or smallest.
