I like to remember the triangle of equations for these sort of things: |dw:1456483602956:dw| To find what you want whether that be moles or grams of a compound/element, then you should just cover what you need on the triangle with your finger, and then do whatever it says to do. For example, if i wanted the moles of something, id cover 'moles (mol)' with my finger, and then do mass/molar mass as the line between them is the line of divide. This triangle will always work for equations working out the moles, mass or even molar mass of a substance :) I hope this helps!
