Find the volume of the triangular prism shown in the diagram by following the below. The unlabeled point is . Step 1: Find the length of the missing sides of the prism you’ll need to find volume. Label the picture. (3 points) Step 2: Find the volume of the prism, show your work. (6 points)
@563blackghost @inkyvoyd @pig_cat223 Do any of you understand how to do this? Im very confused.
Okay you need to find the length of the prism, length and breadth of the base triangle Length of prism = Distance from A to B Length of triangle = Distance from D to E Breadth of triangle = Distance from A to E After this, to find the volume just multiply these three sides
Your going to have to use the distance formula for each segment first
Do you know what distance formula is?
isn't it (x2-x1)+y2-y1)? @kayders1997
That but don't forget that's under the square root
So you have to find point on your graph on segments
Which they give to you so let's start with segment AB
Woooo these points are goofy
\[\large\rm Distance = \sqrt{(x_2-x_1)^2+(y_2-y_1)^2+(z_2-z_1)^2} \]
Z?
Oh cause it's 3 dimential
You probably can help better than @FaiqRaees
Than me
excuse me?
Im still really confused on how to do this :/
No I'm saying you would do better at explaining it than me I'm sorry I cut my message short
sorry @FaiqRaees
hi
medal + fan
:D
yeah true dat
XD
Hey guys! Could you show me how to do this problem?
Where is it
At the very top

who is @kayders1997
Yes and then I attached a screenshot of it
I don't know, she was trying to help me but never replied afterwards
