There is a limit to how many fans appear in your fanned list
but at the moment, I don't believe there is a max for the number of people you can fan :P
as for the record... I'm not sure...

Ermm, now that the fan list only shows the first 300 users, I can't tell you.

I did it on another accout, and I got like a few thousand fanned. There are other users like Lui and ganeshie  who fan back and they also have thousands of fans.

Rest assured, that the most people fanned is not more than 10,000
