hey @heacain do you know when the U.S. took pics of Cuba, I forgot the date ;-;
i just know that it was sometime in the 1960's
thanks :D
The U.S. CIA decided to send a U2 Spy plane to Cuba on August 29, 1962. The highly classified spy plane was a plane developed in the year 1955, due to it being the world's highest altitude flying plane at it's time. Could reach as high as 70, 000 feet, and had a high power camera attached to the bottom of the jet, so it could take pictures of Cuba from the air. This plane was very important due to it taking such high altitudes and could not be shot down, since artillery could not reach so high. When the U.S. observed the images, they saw nuclear war heads and launch pads. So America got extremely worried due to the missiles being able to reach the white house in 10 min. So the Soviets and the whole world watched how a huge nuclear war could almost break out, but luckily we came to an agreement to take out missiles out of Turkey (main reason why Soviets, put nukes in Cuba) and they took their nukes out of Cuba.
he's that? :D
thanks that is very helpful :)
