George tells you that when variables are in the denominator, the equation four over five plus three over x equals one over two becomes unsolvable. George explains, "There is a value for x that makes the denominator zero, and you can't divide by zero." Demonstrate to George how the equation is still solvable and explain your reasoning
do you have any opinion please about start ?
@jhonyy9 when you are done with this question can you come to my question im really stuck!!!!!!:):)
@jhonyy9 can you PLEASE come to my question PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@mathmale CAN you please come 2 my question!:)
4 3 1 --- + ---- = --- 5 x 2 what will be the common denominator ? but first of all you need to make a restriction x not can being equal zero
Please use either Equation Editor or the Draw utility to present your equation symbolically.
I find the word description amibiguous. is it this? 4/(5+3/x)= 1/2 cross multiply this becomes 8 = 5 +3/x multiply by x 8x = 5x + 3 or x = 1
