The Confession: A story of my life changing experience on OpenStudy.

Many of you might regard me as the rude and disrespectful user of OS. I cannot blame you for these accusations, since you all are unaware of the things I've been through on this site. When I joined this site, I enjoyed it as much as you all do right now. I made fast friends and received help for my questions. I then later became very interested in making owls, and so I did. When people requested owls for me to create, I would try my best to make them. I know this is hard to believe, but confluxepic was my friend back then. I trusted he and his brother back then and I treated them as my friends. One of my brothers created an account which got suspended for a very long time. Because of this, I could not make a new account with a catchy username, because of our IP. I turned to the user I trusted, TheSmartOne. I told him the username and the password for the new account I wanted. He successfully created the account, and I started using it on that same afternoon. When it was close to evening, numerous things were happening to my new account. Someone was deleting my comments, which gradually decreased my smartscore. Someone was making me post comments which consisted of swear words and other inappropriate words. The account was banned with the picture that contained a swear words in it. I was in the account while it was being hacked, so I turned to OpenStudy. Compassionate, who was an ambassador back then, claimed that my IP was the only one occupying the account and that I was the one who was trolling. TheSmartOne, confluxepic, and all of the other users who I regarded as my friends also turned against me. This infuriated me very much. How would anyone feel if they felt betrayed by the people who they regarded as their friends. After that day, I remained the angry and frustrated user who you all think of me today. A while after that, I joined the OpenStudy Special Forces. I guess you could say I was making a few friends in there. The OSSF slack was run by Librarian, Pooja, and TheSmartOne. My account was strangely being disabled for numerous times. I kept demanding for an explanation, but none were given to me. I then felt a more deep hatred for the ambassadors and their actions towards me. So now you all know the story behind it, and I hope you will read it all with understanding.

Maybe if you lightened up a bit the site wouldn't be such a place that you describe it to be.

That's pretty upsetting. Although, I personally think you aren't rude as an individual. You just bluntly state your point, and actually that's pretty sad that your own friends turned against you...filling you with ire. A similar incident happened to me on OS, and we're still friends after all. @Imqwerty it's not easy to forgive and forget. It's deep grief, and it shows up as quirks.

Usual pooja, not seeing the situation inside of this, maybe you should step out of your comfort zone and lol, attempt to understand.

So I guess all of us as users, can become a constellation. We all relate. I'm not saying it's great to stay in misery, because when I did...I was hurting a lot. I suggest a healing process, and I wish you the best of luck on the journey.

I totally get what conq is trying to say i've been through so much on this site. I have so many haters the best i can say is ignore :-/ there are times where i feel like this site is a waste of time and i sometimes dislike the site because of the people. But if we take everything people say/do to mind are we ever gonna be happy? Prolly not. It's sad that your close/trusted friends would do such a thing. Maybe we should all just apologize and start fresh :)

but just try to get out of this virtual place and look at better things that you got to do in real life:)

I sadly think about how much you've endured and pain you felt..

However? It is a new days a dawn? Lets make the best of it, we will try and attempt to erase your scares, making you feel welcome. I do truly feel sorry.

I'm willing to take the first step and apologize for my actions towards you, i've said rude things to you in the past it was a long time ago but it's never too late to apologize. You are a great person and we both know it :-) I want you to continue making owls for people because I know users want them ;p and if it helps i'll even help you promote those owls :-) I consider you a friend whether you consider me one or not is up to you. Just know i'm here to help ^_^

One, I saw some of them. It's annoying when younger users take what you say the wrong way and they just ran on and on about it. Don't change for them, I myself, am trying to find a way to word my sentences differently. Oh god, the agony...it's annoying.

This was on slack we didn't have mods there. And it was just someone deciding to fool around with conq and make him look bad. To get a laugh out of him. The person even changed conq's name to rude and profane names. Since owners had the power to chance peoples name. The person didn't admit that till a year after everything happened. Conq thought it was be but in reality it wasn't.

We don't have any powers to ban. Some users thought it was okay to community ban with alts. It's never ok to ban with alt. Another conq assumption was that I was banning with alts I wasn't yes I reported things I deemed were against the rules but that's it. And things that required a ban when there were no mods on, people of OSSF would pm each other to report a thing. Which is ok because no one is forced to report. They report it if they wish.

I have a question @Conqueror, why have you not changed your attitude towards us who never did anything? Some of us never knew your story, and you still seemed to push us off the cliff. Why can't you forgive the ones who turned their backs on you? They never knew it wasn't you who did the horrible things.
