Can you help Hatrnn ^ - ^
The first thing you do is calculate the area of your square, and since all four sides are equal in length, it is 3x3 which equals 9 so the area of your square is 9 square feet, then since your triangle area formula is b*h/2 it is- 3*2.5/2 and following PEMDAS you get- 3*2.5/2 6/2 3 so the area for one triangle is 3, and since all the triangles are the same you just need to add- 9+3+3+3+3=21 so your answer is C.
3*2.5/2 is not 3 actually.
So it isn't C?
nopes
3*2.5/2 is the area of one triangle so area of 4 triangles = 4*3*2.5/2 = 15 add area of square = 9 there to get total area as 24 :)
Oh
Yea, your answer is D, sorry, I was trying to help and I forgot the .5 sorry, I really didn't do it on purpose.
