Hi there! What's your question?
Discusss the advantages and disadvantage of the introduction of computers in a local pharmacy . (a) from the pharmacists point of view (b) from the customers point of view
Alright, which one did you pick? A or B?
i have to do both .. . i have to write one parapaph for ( A) AND ONE FOR (b) help me plez
can u help me :
r u ok with it?
Okay, I can try to give some pointers here. For A), the pharmacist's point of view can differ both way's. It can be amazingly great for a pharmacist because that computer/technology has a brain and store's data that is useful to the him/her Example, prescription's and patients. That computer has to keep track of all of those, because it would be seemingly impossible for the pharmacist's themselves to do it all. I think for the pharmacist, its a very very good addition to their work. This article may also help you some as well. http://baonsquarestech.blogspot.com/2013/08/the-use-of-computer-in-pharmacy_26.html
i believe it would be a because it can be from both ways
plus with a customer they can't know much.
I HAVE TO write the advantage and disadvantage for both a and b :(
ohhhhh
okay for a they track of stuff, but thing can go missing because computers malfunction. for b the pharmacist can easily see if they can give the person what the customer wants and needs. but idk about the downside
i hope this helps
Alright...One disadvantage from a customer's point of view is that there can be germ's on the keyboard and mouse. The pharmacist may mix a certain drug, either compound or a powder form and they may have to look up certain info on the computer while doing so. MOST of the time the keyboard and mouse of a computer has germ's on it and that could be unsafe for the customer taking the drug which had just been mixed.
NEW QUESTION: How would you prevent pharmaceutical companies from influencing what medications doctors dispense to their patients. 2 Parapahs !plez
hllo :(
We are here, we're just trying to think. Patience! :P
sorry
honestly idk im sorry
@beauty18dd Goodness, I'm like really stumped on that one myself. But that best I can think of is this.... "I would contact the governor of my state, even if it meant talking to one of his/her representatives and asking if there is a movement or a bill that could be made in order to enforce pharmaceutical's to back off on what medication's doctor's should prescribe. I would also add the fact that pharmacy's are in a way performing an act of corruption, because if they are trying to tell doctor's what to prescribe, they are inching more towards the medicine's that make the most money and that are the most popular so that way they can pad more cash into their pockets."
is this right?
It's the only thing that makes sense! I mean why else should the pharmaceutical's of all people be ordering doctor's around?
pharmaceutical's are pills
Precisely. :) @beauty18dd
With and aging population dentistry will have to reflect the demand for cosmetic surgery. do you think that insurance should cover his ? why or why not 2 PARAPHS PLEZZZZZ
Well, I can't do everything. :P DO you think insurance should cover this?
idk
Well, try to give this one a shot. It doesn't hurt to do so.
yeah
hllo
hey cn u ad more to this question plez How would you prevent pharmaceutical companies from influencing what medications doctors dispense to their patients.
How about you try to come up with something more? I can't just do your whole assignment for you.
hey plez . calm down imsorry .. its that question only;*
Calm down? You silly! I'm not mad. I'm simply saying you've gotta give this a try yourself. Just try! I can give pointer's and edit and everything, but you've gotta try. Focus and actually think. :)
its hard for me;(
Trust me I know. Its not easy. Just try!
MY BRAIN I SWEAR CANT THINK IM TRYNG ;( :( ODK WHAT TO DO;(
Its your turn to calm down now ^-^ Focus. You can do it!
;(
Nope, no sad face. Try to look at it this way. You have to challenge yourself even though you don't want to. You'll be surprised at the results. :)
I think it would have been more easier if you chose the customer's perspective rather than the pharmaceuticals.
He actually had to choose both and write a paragraph about each. @e_c19957
Ah, I see. What class is this for?
"I would contact the governor of my state, even if it meant talking to one of his/her representatives and asking if there is a movement or a bill that could be made in order to enforce pharmaceutical's to back off on what medication's doctor's should prescribe. can u help me write more plez
@beauty18dd For the last question that you just posted that you're wanting me to give more help on, why don't you throw an idea out and I'll try to expand upon it. :)
okay but i might be wrong
Don't be afraid of that! Just try.
Here's one idea. I may be wrong about this: sometimes data towards prescribing medicines in computers can be lost.
For pharmaceuticals, that is. That can affect the customer in ways that the corruption of this circumstance may not get them to trust their physicians.
well i think that parmaceutials know better and know what to give to their patients .
I'm wrong?:(
No, you're at the right path. I saw that you were asking for a disadvantage so I tried to provide one of my own.
is your last response @beauty18dd referring the question " How would you prevent pharmaceutical companies from influencing what medications doctors dispense to their patients" ?
yeah I'm answering that question
can u add to it since i tried :)
"I think that it is a distinct possibility that pharmaceuticals know what to give to their patients for the simple reason that they may have more know how about all the various different medicine's than a doctor does. To put it in maybe a better term, doctor's know the purpose of a drug and how it may help their patient while a pharmacist knows not only the purpose of the drug, but its side-effects, and the specific science behind how it may work." The above referring to a counter-example for an answer to that question, if that's what your looking for.
this is which ?

Well, seeing how you basically copied and pasted from me....yes that is it. I think that's enough.
