I think we should have a HTML mode on the site next to like the "drawing" option or wherever you please. But this will change how our users answer question and teach new users an actual language unlike latex.

Html does promise a lot of possibilities. But these days I only feel sad when someone suggests a new idea. Not a single new feature has been added these few years. And if only the site starts to update itself that ideas like this can actually be made into features.

Interesting idea..
but cannot happen
If it does that will be major trouble.
HTML can be far to abused, and would be a huge security risk.
Not even ​_​*I*​_​ would take on the task of making a system to only allow safe tags.
heck, we had to remove JavaScript Latex HREF's, I think this is out of the question.
