Jan is one year younger than her brother bill and 1 year old older than her sister sue the sum of the three children's ages is 57 how old is each child

ILovePuppiesLol (ilovepuppieslol):

lets say that Jan is \(x\) years old so age of her bro = \(x+1\) and agge of her sis= \(x-1\) and the sum of these ages is 57 so- \(x+x+1+x-1=57\) \((3x=57\) \(x=19\) so this means that Jan is 19 her bro is 20 and her sis is 18
