OpenStudy (anonymous):

miles per hour = miles/hours so, it would basically be the same thing with this, just replace miles with cars. rates are usually found by dividing the subject by the time

Any clue?

OpenStudy (truwhovian11):

nope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

rate is how much of something you do in a certain amount of time. so if i drove 55 miles in 5 hours, my rate would be miles divided by hours. (or 55/5, which would equal 11 miles per hour). Do you know what i mean?
